Textile master Serizawa Keisuke

This one is from 1964. I love the bold, graphic quality of the design...which nonetheless remains rooted in traditional motifs.
Like a lot of Japanese textile design!
There is a gorgeous book published by the japan Society called "Serizawa" that is a must-have for all textile freaks.
